The National Ecology Company plans to complete the construction of a waste sorting factory in the Novomoskovsk district of the Tula region at the end of 2010. The date was announced by NEC General Director Sergei Khoroshayev at a press conference devoted to investment plans in the region.
“The implementation of the project will help the Novomoskovsk district not only solve the problem of an efficient household waste accumulation, but to receive additional revenues and get several dozens new jobs,” Sergei Khoroshayev noted.
The NEC became the operator and investor of the project after winning an open investment tender. In 2009, necessary documents were accumulated, land surveying and technical works were done.
Now the National Ecology Company evacuates waste for the whole region. The company manages special machines, a container site and supporting infrastructure.
