Vladimir Balashov joined theo ROEL Group of Companies in 1996 and became chief of the marketing business department of ROEL Consulting Group of Companies. He supervised issues related to planning of regional industry development projects, anti-crisis programs for companies, strategic management of enterprise development. He has also implememted a reforming and direct investment project at at Salavatsteklo OJSC.
Presently, Vladimir Balashov is a general director of ROEL Management CJSC. He supervises projects of day-to-day management of companies within the portfolio of the ROEL Group.
Vladimir Balashov holds a doctor's degree in technical sciences. He is also a professor in the faculty of Innovative Management, Department of Management and Applied Mathematics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, a professor in the Faculty of Theory and History of Sociology at the Moscow State Pedagogical University, a member of the Russian Marketing Association and the Association of Independent Directors.
